Auto Express editor in chief Steve Fowler comments on discussions around a 2 year MOT check ….. “Changing the MOT test from yearly to every two-years is very worrying. Safety first has been top of the car makers agenda for years and will continue to be so. Consumers need to know their cars are fit for use and the annual check is of the utmost importance for everyone – both road users and non road users. The cost saving would be minimal but the cost of a car not fit for purpose could be off the scale.”
