HEVENINGHAM CONCOURS TEAMS UP WITH EVO AND OCTANE FOR ANNUAL TOUR

Published at: 9th June 2022

Heveningham Concours is pleased to announce that this year’s Heveningham Tour on Friday 1st July will be in association with leading Autovia sister titles evo and Octane.

The Heveningham Tour – for owners and special guests – marks the start of the concours’ weekend before the event opens to the public on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd July at Heveningham Hall, Suffolk. Each year, The Heveningham Tour takes in the scenic lanes of East Anglia with a stop for lunch at an, as yet, undisclosed location.

A spokesman for Heveningham Concours said: “We are delighted that this year’s Heveningham Tour will feature bespoke rally plates and decals featuring the logos of evo and Octane.”

Commenting on the tie-up, Holly Jerram, Publisher, Autovia, said: “Octane and evo magazine are pleased to partner with Heveningham Concours for their annual tour in 2022. Their luxurious weekend event featuring world class cars aligns perfectly with both brands, and the fact all proceeds go into local charitable trusts made our decision to support the event even easier.”

Heveningham Concours features a weekend of world-class cars, iconic aeroplanes and a truly unforgettable garden party atmosphere. Entrants’ cars are carefully showcased on dramatic tiered grass terraces – with prizes awarded in three categories: pre-war; post-war & supercar – along with a simultaneous display of classic aeroplanes exhibited on an escarpment within the heart of the parkland.

Beyond the concours, there is all the fun of the fair to be had at the very English country fair taking place over the same weekend which itself attracts over 20,000 visitors and features aerobatic displays, livestock, local crafts, dog shows, bungy jumps and much, much more. In common with the concours, all proceeds and profits go to charity.

For the brave-hearted, Horsepower Hill, a spirited 1/8 mile ‘drag race’ with doughnut rings and dedicated paddock returns on both days and, if that’s not enough, there’s an entirely new event for 2022: Thunderdrome, an oval-shaped flat-track race of nerves around a central bowl. On Saturday evening, Heveningham Hall plays host to a magical garden party for owners where the bronze Lawrence Edwards trophies are awarded to our winners.

Since its inception in 2016, Heveningham Concours has quickly established itself as a highly memorable and unique concours event attracting owners from across the globe.

With its unique focus on charity where, amongst others, the concours funds a full ‘i-mobility’ scholarship at the Royal College of Art, its relaxed atmosphere and dedication to showcasing only some 50 of the world’s finest motor cars plus aeroplanes, Heveningham Concours will surprise and delight you.
